Expectations

Up in the third - too early? III.3 is deemed as one of the toughest III-level divisions so we'll have to try hang along and get a qualification match to fight for the spot on this level. To be able to challenge the opponent for the win in every game is our only objective this season. Win or lose - as long as the team goes to the field to fight for it.

Conclusion

The debut in third division was more than successful - Wabbits held the first place half of the season and could have claimed the title by winning the last match. The series was ultimately even and by losing the last match team ended up being fourth which is still more than the management dared to expect in the beginning.

Cup was the most disastrous of all times as the team was walked over on the fourth round against all the odds. This early drop resulted in enormous unrest within the fans of the team and they were upset for the rest of the season. Fanclub lost members although fighting for the league title within the first season up. The upset had a huge impact at the financial side as the spectator average dropped over 8000 from the last season.

The sluggish cash flow from the ticket sales and the loss of budgeted cup revenue lead the team to have great financial struggles at the end of the season and these problems will unfortunately have reflections on the future season(s).
